I have a Lenovo ThinkPad T430 running Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.5, kernel 2.6.32-431.30.1.el6.x86_64, and my filesystem structure consists of a master LUKS partition holding two logical volumes, one for the root filesystem formatted as Ext4, another for the swap space. Per corporate policy I run Symantec Antivirus.
As of lately it has been happening to me that after waking my system from hibernation, my root filesystem becomes corrupted and Linux reacts by remounting it read only. When this happens I must stop everything, restart my computer and wait for fsck to fix the corrupted filesystem. So far I have yet to experience information loss but I would very much like to correct this issue before it causes greater trouble.
