Change directory-windows

I use putty to connect with the computer system of the university.

On my computer I have a file that I want to send via putty.

How can I have access to this file?

When I write the command pwd, it shows me /home/users/guest/students/...

How can I change the directory to get the pdf file from my Windows Computer?
