debootstrap fails getting Emdebian

Following guidelines of this doc to create Embedian Squeeze rootfs

$ sudo apt-get install debootstrap

$ sudo debootstrap --arch=armel --foreign squeeze rootfs/ http://ift.tt/1aLgzCW
W: Cannot check Release signature; keyring file not available /usr/share/keyrings/debian-archive-keyring.gpg
I: Retrieving Release 
E: Failed getting release file http://ift.tt/1zXI3q2

I checked directly the URL http://ift.tt/1zXI3q2 and it doesn't point to anything. I also tried sub directories to no avail.

Gettings the same issue with wheezy, Lenny

Any pointers are most welcome.
