I'm having difficulty getting maximum resolution out of a Dell ST2320L monitor (23", I think) on a new installation of Debian linux running Xorg. The graphics card is an ATI HD 5670 and I installed their latest driver earlier today but it makes no difference.
Eventhough the monitor tells me that it should support 1920x1080 the most the ATI driver seems to pick up on is 1600x1200 and it just doesn't look right.
Could anybody help?
