why linux HDD support SCSI drivers?


In personal computing, SCSI interfaces have been replaced, for the most part, by Universal Serial Bus (USB). But, Looking at what block device commands like lsblk or blkid return it seems that linux HDD support SCSI drivers regardless of the type of the driver.


Why is that?
