i tried lfs 7.6 today, about the chapter 6.9, install glibc-2.20, i chroot to ${LFS}, then cd sources, tar xvfJ glibc-2.20.tar.xz, cd glibc-2.20 ... i did as described in the lfs document, when i ran 'make install', it reported two errors. then, on my host system, i couldn't execute any command, always report 'elf error'. now i rebooted, linux failed to start, entering kernel panic. hope somebody can help me, thanks.
