Disconnected my laptop from my screen for a few days, and then reconnected it.
When I plug in my HDMI cable, a VGA1 output appears instead of HDMI1. The extern screen also refuses to work at any resolution.
Output from xrandr when the cable is connected:

DP1 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)
Is this expected behaviour? Can it be that I simply did not remember that it was VGA1 before as well?
Also, is it possible that my problem is related to the "0mm x 0mm"?
The last time I connected it, debian automatically found a working resolution. This time it just got stuck at 1024x768, but without any output on the display.
