I'm working on a RHEL 6.3 LiveCD which will eventually become a read only OS. During the development phase I have need to sync content for etc from a local data partition.
The Live CD is created from livecd-creator.
I attempted to inject an upstart script in /etc/init on the live CD which performs the copy after my /persistetc mount is performed, but it doesn't ever appear to run. I can however call start ectsync manually and the copy is performed.
start on filesystem
task
script
exec \cp -arf /persistetc/* /etc
end script
From what I can gather there isn't any upstart event trigger generated from fstab mounts in RHEL 6.3.
What am I doing wrong?
